Daily BJ is a game with fake money, made for a group of mates and open to anyone who finds it. This page says what it keeps about you, why, who handles it, and how to have it deleted. It keeps as little as the game needs, sells nothing, shows no ads and tracks nothing beyond the game itself.

What we keep

  • Your Google sign-in: your email address, and the name and picture on your Google account, as Google passes them on. We use the email to know it's you. We never show it to other players, and we never show your Google name or picture.
  • What you choose to show: your display name, your avatar, your room and what you wear. Other players see these on the boards and in your room.
  • Your play: every bet, hand and spin, your stake, cash and investments, what you buy, your badges, stats, challenges and raffle tickets, the groups and pots you're in, and who invited you or whom you invited with your link.
  • Guests: playing as a guest makes an account with no email. It holds the same play data until you sign in or clear your browser.
  • The contact form: your message, the name and email you add if any, the page you sent it from and your account. To stop spam we keep a scrambled code made from your internet address, never the address itself.

Cookies and storage

  • Sign-in cookies keep you signed in. Without them the game can't work.
  • An invite cookie (dbj-mate) is set only when you open a mate's invite link, so your sign-up counts for them. It lasts 30 days.
  • Your browser keeps a few settings for you: sound on or off, your baccarat reveal, and which posters and unlocks you've already seen. They never leave your device.
  • No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.

Who handles it

  • Supabase stores the game's database and sign-ins, in Sydney, Australia.
  • Vercel runs the website, in Sydney. Like any web host it keeps short-lived request logs, which include internet addresses.
  • Google handles signing in with Google.
  • Resend delivers the contact form's messages to us by email.

Nobody else gets your data, and nobody buys it.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. Delete it and everything goes from the game for good, straight away. Copies in the database's routine backups age out on the backup schedule.

Deleting your account

Sign in, open Me, and use Delete my account at the bottom. It deletes your account and everything that belongs to it. Your Google account isn't touched. Can't sign in any more? Contact us from the email on the account and we'll delete it for you.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, through the contact form. Daily BJ is run from Queensland, Australia.
